Performance Measurement:
Course Description:
Performance measurement tells the story of an organization,
providing management with the critical information to support
decision making to support meeting corporate objectives and
continuous improvement. Within the Public Sector, it provides an
opportunity to track, measure and improve results on an on-going
basis.
The courses under this topic area are designed to help public sector
managers and employees deal with the challenges of implementing
performance measurement regimes within their complex service
environments. This includes elements that include understanding the
concepts of performance measurement, how to setup a performance
system, how to operate a performance measurement system in a
government environment and how to utilize the information within
your performance measurement system.
These courses will also cover how performance measurement relates to
Treasury Board initiatives such as Results-based Management
Accountability Frameworks (RMAF), Program Activity Architecture (PAA)
and Modern Comptrollership.
